This bug is no longer relevant for me as I killed the motherboard - this happened before Lucid. The bug only occurred on that machine. May be of interest that the first IDE was connected with the boot-HDD as master and a ROM-Drive as slave. The PC was an Medion Titanim MD8083 XL with Motherboard MD 8088 and Intel Pentium 4 Processor.
