Hey folks, you may ask your ISP about the right mtu-value and type that particular number into the network-manager-settings, NOT "automatically". If this doesnt work you may try "Wicd" as an alternative networking tool. Dont forget to totally uninstall the GNOME-NM (taking it out of "autostart" can be but is most of the time not enough):
sudo apt-get install --reinstall wicd sudo apt-get remove --purge network-manager network-manager-gnome (for KNetworkmanager the other packages, respectively). The Gnome-NM scans very rude and sharp your available networks, this may cause the disconnections. -- wlan is unstable since lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/575213 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
