Public bug reported:
After installation of recent updates in Feisty 7.04 (including a new
kernel), NEC DVD_RW ND-3520A is not recognized any longer: in a normal
mode the system hangs completely at an attempt to do any operations with
the DVD-RW or does not complete boot-up process with the error
"cdrom_pc_intr: The drive appears confused (ireason = 0x01)".
