I can confirm this bug in v2.3 under ubuntu. A possible workaround is to turn on "Parse XING headers" option in MPEG Audio Plugin. On the other hand if you turn off the "Enable fast play-length calculation", length won't be displayed at all as described previously. I attached an audio file, so you can reproduce the bug.
