I can add that on a recen 2.6.36rc5 kernel kslow has been removed. So
instead I see lines like this in top :
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
10 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 5 0.0 1:11.50 kworker/0:1

kslow wakes up every 10 seconds making the mouse cursor
