I seem to have the same issue on Maverick, albeit more extreme at times. When I log on to the computer, the wireless connects and disconnects several times per minute. After a while, the connection starts to stick for longer periods, but it always disconnects no later than during the night.
I'm also thinking that this is a network-manager issue, and have te same issue whether I use the plasma applet frontend or wicd. My network card is product: Ultimate N WiFi Link 5300 vendor: Intel Corporation The hint mentioned above regarding heavy load, also jives with my experiences, as my saved sessions tend to cause a lot of traffic at log on. FWIW, the connection has reconnected 2-3 times while writing the above words. Attaching syslog. ** Attachment added: "syslog" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/630547/+attachment/1635937/+files/syslog -- WiFi randomly disconnects in Maverick https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/630547 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
