Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
When starting Rhythmbox, if you do not select a song to play and click X, it closes/exits instead of going to tray/sound applet. Rhythmbox only hides in there if you are playing music. This requires you to kick off Rhythmbox again and let it reload your library. I like to just have the app loaded and bring it up from the tray if i"m not going to be listening to music because thats faster on my machine then starting the app all over and having it search through and load the library again, etc since thats already been done. 10.10 Beta 1 fully updated, and it does go to tray if a song is playing ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: rhythmbox 0.13.1-0ubuntu4 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.33-generic 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Sep 25 07:56:42 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: rhythmbox ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- rhythmbox closes/exits instead of going to tray when no music is playing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/647458 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
