I have been plagued with this problem since installing a Linksys WUSB600N (Ralink 2870 Chipset). I had hoped upgrading to Lucid would help, but the problem persists. Currently at: Linux AMD64X4-Ubuntu 2.6.32-24-generic #43-Ubuntu SMP Thu Sep 16 14:58:24 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I do almost constant FTP downloading from my 100Mbit dedicated server, and having my connection dropout for 3 to 5 seconds every 2 minuets really adds up and is quite annoying. I tried Wicd and that works ok, except if my connection goes down then it uses 100% CPU and I'm unable to kill it. Adding the BSSID of my router (D-Link DIR-655) did not help in my case. Thank you Wagner Volanin very much for the patched NM it works perfectly. Hopefully we can get a fix for this bug in Maverick.
