Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I submitted an Apport report with the technical details...

When I try to open any .odt document and Open Office is not previously
running, it will open itself in a maximized window, but the visible area
of the document corresponds to a minimized window. To fix it I will have
to un-maximize and then maximize the window again. It is really
annoying! I'm attaching a picture, in case my words are not useful
enough..

Thanks in advance...

When opening an .odt file in OpenOffice 3.1.1, the size of the actually visible
area of document is way smaller than the size of the window
