This bug still remains a problem in Ubuntu 10.04, with all updates installed: if I add a PCI videocard to my SC440 (it really is PCI and not PCI Express) than I can't boot: I get grub, then I get a cursor blinking in the upper left corner and then the system crashes. Just like serrs, I tried an nVidia and a ATI, but it has the same problem.
