Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and help to improve Ubuntu.
Your bug report shows that you had grub2 installed, which you subsequently removed by installing grub1 but you did not configure grub1. Without allowing your bootloader to be configured, it is impossible for the updated kernel to be added to the boot configuration. You should either configure grub1 by saying 'yes' to this question, or reinstall the recommended grub2 bootloader by running 'sudo apt-get install grub-pc' from a terminal. ** Changed in: grub (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- package linux-image-2.6.32-24-generic 2.6.32-24.43 failed to install/upgrade: il sottoprocesso vecchio script di post-installation ha restituito lo stato di errore 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/642900 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
