Downloaded the "Feisty Desktop Beta i386" and performed a new install... the new beta ,not a herd 1 -5 version worked perfect ...Got a clean install without any problems...
been using the Beta for two weeks now and things are going great ... Beryl works, Compiz works, Mplayer and firefox plugin works (you must uninstall Totem-plugin ), Wine works (running adobe photoshop 7 , Daz|Studio 1.3 , ZipGenius 6 , Xara 3D5 , and Gif Movie Gear ) LinDVD dvd player works can't seem to get Java and Frostwire going no matter what I try or do ...
