Hi Martin,

This appears to be a duplicate of bug 634702 so I am marking it as such.
There's confirmation from the Ubuntu kernel developer assigned to bug
634702 that the following workaround seems to resolve the boot issue:

"We have some test today and find out that add "intel_idle.max_cstate=0"
will disable intel_idle and let system S10-3 boot ok."

Please use bug 634702 for any future correspondence regarding this
issue.  Thanks.
