No, it is not bug in Xv implementation, because I have the same bug all over again when I enable Desktop Effects. Problem is there that no Xv can be used, but GL backend should be used instead. For this I tried to use gstreamer0.10-gl plugin. It installed fine, however I met several problems: * I tried to open www.quicktime.com trailer via totem-mozilla plugin. This ended with opening seperate window and showing video three times faster as necesary * To change backend I had to press ALT+F2, gstreamer-properties, and then select for Video sink custom and type in "glimagesink"
