Public bug reported: Hi --
I recently installed Feisty Fawn on my system and am quite happy with most of it, except for the fact that my Wacom Intuos USB tablet is undetectable by Gimp, Inkscape, and any other graphics app. The error reported back is: No Extended Input Devices. xorg.conf is configured properly and the stylus is moving the cursor around. However, the device simply cannot be detected as a tablet in any of the apps. Right now, it's functioning merely as a glorified mouse. I did find a forum that addressed the problem on Edgy with a solution that involved rebuilding and installing wacom.ko, but that's not the most intuitive way for most users to work around this issue (I believe this is a Kernel Module issue). I'm hoping that when Feisy goes production-ready that these issues will be fixed. Thanks!
