I've tested the packages from http://users.tkk.fi/~tjaalton/wacom/, and they work correctly.
the kernel modules do not build however, at least not on 2.6.20-13-lowlatency. note that kernel 2.6.20 is not officially supported by the wacom 0.7.6-4 driver, but it's been reported to work with the 0.7.7-7 development driver. maybe it's better to update to that version.
