All this appears to me as being available in various ways: in Lucid, the NM icon should change depending on the type of 3G connection (a little yellow mark). You should also be able to see more information if you right click the icon, and select Connection Information, then go on to your connection's tab.
If you need more data, please add the exact version of Ubuntu you are running (which you can get with 'lsb_release -a') as well as the version of network-manager and network-manager-applet you use ('dpkg -l network- manager network-manager-gnome' will tell you this). For now I'm marking this bug as Incomplete. ** Changed in: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low -- A good 3G connection software, that indicate the ISP, GPRS, HDSPA,... easily https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/487872 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
