After recent updates, I can use the unity desktop as my test user, however, when I log in as my normal user (selecting Ubuntu Netbook Edition from the login screen), I get the standard gnome desktop, not the unity desktop.
This looks like a configuration problem to me, not a crash. I will be happy to provide additional information to help resolve this bug -- let me know what you need.
