I have a Sony Vaio VPCEB2MOE with Ubuntu 10.10 installed. It has two
built-in card readers: one for SD, the other for Memory Stick. The SD
drive works out of the box but the Memory Stick one does not. I have
tried the driver written by Maxim Levitsky (see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/238208) but it does not work -
unfortunately I don't know whether this device requires a completely new
driver or if Maxim's driver can be easily adapted. When I load the
driver I get the following kernel messages:
