Setting importance to low for now and marking as incomplete: roaming is expected when there are multiple ESSIDs with the same name in range, but it really should be to follow the one with the highest signal, which shouldn't be changing that much. I also think this might have been fixed or improved in later versions.
Robert, could you please try with a live session using a CD of the current development release - Maverick Meerkat - and report back here with whether the same behavior can be seen? You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help. ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- network-manager won't stop roaming https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/535403 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
