This is an awkwardness that we need to refine. We want the menu position to be constant, and we know that when windows are maximised we'll have the window controls in there. As a temporary approach we're putting the truncated first word of the app name in that space, we haven't done a round of polish on that but renderings / concepts are welcome as attachments to this bug :-)
