Ok.. Here is the solution: If you have the "leaked" ubuntu-beta font installed, just delete it.
Check whether they are. Should be in ~/.fonts or /usr/share/fonts/truetype Delete all the *ubuntu* fonts from there. Next, run from terminal: sudo fc-cache -f -v Then install original "ubuntu-private-fonts" from PPA The version installed from the repositories is located under: usr/share/fonts/truetype/ubuntu-private-fonts so don't delete that! Then log out and log back in. Now Chromium or Chrome works fine with Ubuntu-Beta fonts and doesn't seg-fault anymore. :) -- Chromium - don't start - segmentation fault https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/623868 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
