Hello Patrick The only things that i can tell you is that this device is supported in Lucid (10.04) https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ThinkFinger And the .deb package is disposable in Ubuntu's repository for Karmic too http://packages.ubuntu.com/hu/karmic/libpam-thinkfinger
