Fabio, As I stated, I had the trouble with 9.04 not 10.04 or 10.04.1. The 9.04 difficulty as I remember, may have been with a flakey Dell 2200. I was able to install 8.04 on that Dell 2200, so I felt there was a problem with 9.04 installation. I sent this bug in quite some time ago and had forgotten about it since 10.04 installed so well. I still have the cd of 9.04 that I downloaded and if you wish, I could try installing it on an old Dell I have here to see if I can replicate the problem. I have cd's of 8.04, 9.04, 10.04 and 10.04.1.
