I doubt that adding more use cases to this thread will matter much, but I must 
mention that this bug coupled with the inability to easily change host names 
creates problems for those of us attempting to use Ubuntu in a more corporate 
environment.  We set up Ubuntu to authenticate against our Active Directory 
systems and it has been standard procedures to make the default user the same 
across all installs (and later wipe it out when AD is up and running).  This 
means that all of these machines will have the same name on the network which 
makes managing them complicated.  
I have no problem with this being pushed to some 'Advanced' tab, but I believe 
this bug needs to be bumped up from a 'low' importance and would very much 
appreciate having it addressed before 11.04.
