Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: beryl

When I install Beryl according to Mark Shuttleworth's blog posting, I
get menu entries for Beryl Settings Manager in KMenu>System, and Emerald
Theme Manager in KMenu>Settings (shouldn't these be together?) but
neither actually run Beryl. I had to separately install beryl-manager
(this should have been pulled in too, since the Settings Manager is
useless if there is nothing to use those settings).

Anyway, once I got that part done I ran (in Yakuake) beryl-manager and
all my window manager borders etc disappeared, but nothing replaced them
until I ended up with a blank white screen. I had to kill X to get out
of this mode.
