Public bug reported: Binary package hint: samba
When attempting to connect to a Samba share in Ubuntu 6.10, the Domain field is filled in as "WORKGROUP", regardless of what is entered as "workgroup" in /etc/samba/smb.conf In Ubuntu 5.10, this works correctly, filling in the workgroup variable under the Domain field.
