Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20

After updating the Feisty kernel from 2.6.20.9 (herd 5) to 2.6.20.13
together with all other updates (500 mb) including ndiswrapper and
networkmanager my wireless fails to work (AMD64) on the "13" kernel and
not on the "9". Used Ndiswrapper 1.19 and Ndisgtk 6.2 / 6.3 to load
windows Asus Wl-138g driver. Driver is shown and hardware is present,
wlan0 is shown in iwconfig. Interfaces file is clean except for "lo".
Modules file has ndiswrapper added. Network-manager gnome displays
wireless networks around and wired network options. However when I try
to connect to my network using 2.6.20.13 kernel it fails. Rebooting with
the 2.6.20.9 kernel and trying to connect gives a good connection
(while not having changed anything else). I connect with DHCP and WPA.

Under 2.6.20.13 kernel boot syslog shows errors in HAL with ndiswrapper
and also in WPA_supplicant.

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
