Despite Mr. Sitter's claim"one can actually install a partition editing application in a live session", it wasn't obvious for me in Lucid Lynx.
I spent 20 minutes trying to find a graphical partition editor. Google returned references to QtParted, but that's not known to KPackageKit and it seems obsolete. Then references to KDE Partition Manager like this one, but I couldn't find that package in KPackageKit either. Note for others: the generic-sounding package "partitionmanager" in KPackageKit is actually the graphical KDE Partition Manager. I filed bug #628527 that it should be identified better. -- partition manager missing in kubuntu 10.04 lucid lynx https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/568993 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kubuntu-meta in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
