I can confirm that the problem still exists on Feisty. Substituting ``DejaVu Sans Condensed'' with ``Sans'' as proposed in thread: http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=2262565&postcount=6 does the trick. Not a long term solution but the fonts look nice again.
