No, I can not confirm this. "Can not" in the sense that I am now running
a freshly installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

As far as I remember correctly, I did not install any plugins or changed the 
configuration when the problem existed.
The only additional information is, that I did an update from 9.10 to 10.04 LTS.
