Not a bug in cheese, as mentioned by the reporter the system has low ram.
 and the crash is due to checkbox calling the gstreamer pipeline.

A few questions though:
- Was the webcam a built-in webcam? or an addtional one?
- If an additional one, Wouldnt the webcam have mentioned the RAM required for 
it to function? 
- If mentioned, what was the Required RAM listed for the webcam?

Not sure this is even a bug, if the hardware requirements are not
satisfied and the webcam would obviously not start or in this case crash
trying to start..
