I think that this problem re-emerged following a standard upgrage of 2.6.31.
I repeated the 20100712 patch, make, make install, sudo rmmod gspca_sonixj. On sudo modprobe gspca_sonixj I got... FATAL: Error inserting gspca_sonixj (/lib/modules/2.6.31-22-generic/kernel/drivers/media/video/gspca/gspca_sonixj.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg). dmesg follows. Any advice?
