Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and help to improve Ubuntu.
The libpam-modules preinst script is a shell script, so any segfault here is the result of a bug in another package rather than in pam itself; but we need more information to determine which package is at fault. Is this error reproducible? If you try to update your packages again, do you get the same error? Do you get an error if you run the command 'dpkg --compare-versions 1.1.1-2ubuntu2 lt-nl 1.1.1-2'? ** Changed in: pam (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- package libpam-modules 1.1.1-2ubuntu5 failed to install/upgrade: sous-processus nouveau script pre-installation tué par le signal (Erreur de segmentation) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/622139 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
