Hello, I'm glad to see that you are interested in this bug. Sorry that you have to wait so long. I will try to provide the information you need as soon as possible. Actually I'm not very good in computers, but you gave me much useful information, so I think I will manage to do that. The problem is, now I'm running only Ubuntu 10.04, which I use for everyday work, and Windows. I don't want to risk loosing my data (I don't want to copy files to DVDs using live CD) and I have no space in my hard drive so I can't install another OS. I'm planning to copy all my data to DVDs, format the disk and install Ubuntu 10.10 when the final version will be released. But if you need the information about this bug faster, I could try to install beta instead of final version of Ubuntu 10.10. Of course it would be perfect if I could do what is needed with live CD, but I guess it's impossible...
