What, console, no? It has nothing to do with the console in my case. It's just when I switch off the laptop, right before the shutdown is complete the CASPLOCK, NUMLOCK and the other LED light up and i hear *BEEEEEEEEEP* then it powers down. Same thing when i put it to sleep: right before it done pausing everything and enters the ram-sleep it does the *BEEEEEEEEEEEEP*. fracking annoying; and i cant get it to not do it, tried blacklisting, tried the audiosettings "alert volume" and "mute" settings, nothing stopps it. and its just with ubuntu. on windows it didn't do that at all. and its the integrated system speaker.
in the console when i hit TAB or BACKSPACE there is no beep. -- cannot disable system beep [10.04] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/594257 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
