It is hard to say. It booted into X, but the CD has no Mozilla, where the problem shows more frequently, and kaffeine (the only video player) refused to run my files, but I am assuming it is an unrelated problem. The beta also failed to mount my hard drives and after a short time hard locked with a kernel panic of sorts. So, it may be better, since I did not see any display quirks in the short time until the panic, but I can't be sure. If you have a better idea how to run Mozilla or vlc with the live cd let me know.
