Yes - last attempt with Ubuntu 10.04 approx. 1 month ago, when I re- installed one of my two Fit-PC1 units. After two attempts with Lucid, I gave up and went for Debian 5, which is now running on both and playing like a charm with 1280x1024. I really would have preferred Ubuntu as this was meant to be my web development workstation for a while.
Install for Debian 5: Base install xserver core gnome core gdm gnome-app-install iceweasel NoMachine Free Ed.
