I previously installed ghostscript and libgs8 from Till Kamppeter's ppa. When I tried to follow the instructions given above, I get the following results:

[Y/n/q/?] What it says about ghostscript and lbigs8 make sense, but I'm hesitant to continue when it says that all those other packages (I'm not really sure what they do) are to be REMOVED.
