This is the well known blt bug fixed in blt 2.4z-4.2. Karmic still doesn't have this fix. Although blt has some other issues too, the fix from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/blt/+bug/359857/comments/2 should fix this too. Probably blt needs to be fixed in Karmic too (doesn't seem to be the case).
