Public bug reported: Binary package hint: indicator-sound
When I boot-up by ubuntu (I am on maverick now), sound is muted by default. This is quite annoying, since the first thing I do every time when my computer is ready to work is un-muting, and turning the volume up, as it is at minimum at default. I wonder if it is intentional, in my opinion it should remember the state from before I turned my pc off. I think this is also why I can't hear login-sound: it's muted.
