well here's why it makes no sense -
1. most normal users need flash e.g. youtube
2. in lucid they can comfortably set the global proxy as well as the synaptic
proxy.
3. so how do you expect that normal user to go edit /etc/wgetrc to make flash
work?
there is no error even thrown out during installation that says it didn't
install properly.
its not a question of solution as much as one of usability.
