*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 95400 *** When running the Live CD you could update the installer, ubiquity, via 'sudo apt-get update' and 'sudo apt-get upgrade'. Alternatively, you could try a daily CD build from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily- live/current/ however the current i386 desktop CD seems to be oversized. I hope that helps.
