when i run in recovery mode i can get a root terminal. Can i use recovery mode to generate the log file? I try to stay away from ssh and haven't used it in years. i will run it in recovery mode and see if i can get links2 to run. Not sure what i have that is causing this other than nvidia-current and 2.6.35.14 or even 2.6.35.11.
Daniel: I did not reboot into older kernel i reinstalled with the .11 kernel What card do you have? I'm have the 6200 card. Nikola: Are you still seeing this bug with latest kernel Nvidia drivers? What is the path to xorg.conf.
