*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 69470 *** Thanks for your report. It's not entirely clear why dpkg crashed here (the exit code indicates an illegal instruction, I think, which would tend to suggest a faulty CD or hard disk), but ubiquity's poor response to this event is bug 69470.
