I am willing to assist with spelling and grammar and a name change should be easy (although would obviously need the approval of the author). I think uTweak or TweakU or similar would work without going too far from the original name.
The issue of unofficial repos is another problem altogether though! I can see how this could be problematic for Ubuntu devs as it could be seen to be undermining the offical repos. OTOH the ease for newbies of adding non-official repos for popular apps is one of the main (and I'd suspect desired) components of Ubuntu Tweak. I don't think the concern is something that can be easily dismissed and I don't see how there is a way around it, without removing the functionality and thus removing one of the reasons why many install it in the first place. -- [needs-packaging] Ubuntu Tweak https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/252140 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
