Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xpdf
When searching for text, whenever the page is larger than my screen, and the word is found so that the page needs to be scrolled, scrolling is done, but highlighting immediately terminates, and hitting "Find" again restarts searching on that very same page. Thus search won't advance to subsequent hits as it should. An example is lshort.pdf (can be easily found in google), search for "TeX", for example. This started after upgrading to Lucid, search worked nicely before in Karmic. Scrolling the page manually and then clicking "Find" again advances and shows next hits (until having to scroll again, where it stops as described above). lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS Release: 10.04 xpdf: Installed: (none) Candidate: 3.02-2ubuntu1 Version table: 3.02-2ubuntu1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/universe Packages ** Affects: xpdf (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Search gets confused at end of page https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/612231 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
