It just dawned on me to run rdesktop from sh. When I do that, rdesktop dies with this output: X Error of failed request: BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter) Major opcode of failed request: 23 (X_GetSelectionOwner) Atom id in failed request: 0x0 Serial number of failed request: 13002 Current serial number in output stream: 13002
Found a solution. Use RDP5 instead of RDP.
