Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-codec-install
When trying to play a certain wav file through either the totem plugin in Firefox or through the totem plugin directly, I get prompted to install gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad, which just happens to not be installable right now in maverick. So after clicking 'install' I get an alert window: No packages installed None of the selected packages were installed. This alert can't be dismissed. If I click the Ok button or the close box, it just stays there. Its parent window can't be closed either. The process isn't locked up, since the windows still refresh and the buttons animate in response to my clicking, but since it won't close the window, I have to kill the process.
