If you have an up-to-date Feisty, you can make your printer working by following the instructions in the log file. Run
getweb 1020 and put the sihp1020.dl into the /usr/share/foo2zjs/firmware/ directory. Then your printer will work. A solution to make this automatic is available in printerdrake (which is planned to be added to Ubuntu Feisty+1): https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/printerdrake ** Changed in: cupsys (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: cupsys => foo2zjs Importance: Undecided => Low Status: Unconfirmed => Confirmed -- Instalation of HP Laserjet 1020 don`t functional https://launchpad.net/bugs/96454 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
